to learn about new legislation and to contact our area
representatives in the legislature.
April - President's Club Kick-Off
The Kick-Off is a social event for Chamber volunteers
who participate in the President's Club. Volunteers
divide into teams and earn points for recruiting new
members, welcoming new members, assisting with Chamber
projects, and promoting the Chamber.
April - Heritage
Jubilee
The Chamber partners with the City of Terrell and local
volunteer organizations to sponsor a festival that honors
our city's rich heritage. Two full days of activities
offer something for everyone.
May
TISD Employee Appreciation Luncheon
The Chamber joins with the Terrell Independent School
District to honor all TISD staff with an annual end-of-the-school-year
luncheon.
Run for the Wall
The Run for the Wall motorcycle caravan creates awareness
for and an accounting of all Prisoners of War and
those Missing In Action, and honors the memory of
those killed in action.
Relay for Life
This overnight fundraiser for cancer research honors
cancer survivors and caregivers and remembers those
who succumbed to the disease. The event includes on-site
fundraising activities sponsored by relay teams, who
don't mind adding a little humor to a serious cause.

- Antique Tractor Show
Vintage tractors and related exhibits recall days gone
by in a festive atmosphere in this 2-day event.
July
July 4th Celebration
The bicycle/tricycle parade, a concert by the North
East Texas Symphony Orchestra, and spectacular fireworks
are part of Terrell's red hot 4th of July celebration.
Push America Cyclists
The southern route of the Push America Cyclists Journey
of Hope goes through Terrell on their mission to raise
funds and create awareness for people with disabilities.
August - New Teacher Orientation & Luncheon
Terrell ISD and the Chamber honor new teachers with
a welcome lunch.

Annual Civic Auction
The Annual Auction is the Chamber's major fundraiser
- and a good tiime for all who attend.
Downtown Trick or Treat
Merchants along Moore open their doors for trick
or treaters. Families enjoy safe trick or treating,
music, contests, and other Halloween favorites.
December - Christmas Parade
Hundreds of spectators watch festive holiday entries
parade down Highway 80.
