Eric Bishop, known professionally as Jamie Foxx was born in Terrell in 1967, grew up here and attended Terrell High School.   Foxx frequently recounts his experience of growing up in Terrell and the love of his family and community.

Foxx is the  recipient of an Academy Award, a BAFTA  Award, a Golden Globe Award, a Grammy Award, and a Screen Actors Guild  Award.  Mural is located in the 100 block of South Alley.
