The mission of the Terrell Foundation is to enhance the prosperity and quality of life in the Terrell community by prioritizing education as a cornerstone for economic growth and societal advancement. We achieve this by fostering a culture of lifelong learning, supporting educational initiatives, and promoting community well-being. Through philanthropic initiatives and strategic partnerships, we empower businesses, industries, and citizens to thrive and contribute to the collective success of our community.

Apply for a Scholarship

The Terrell Opportunity Foundation awards scholarships each May to support the educational goals of local students.

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be a current resident of Terrell

  • Be currently enrolled in Terrell ISD

  • Have already been accepted into a college or university

Available Scholarships

Terrell Chamber of Commerce Scholarship

This scholarship is open to graduating seniors who plan to attend a junior college, four-year university, or trade school after graduation. Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation and a copy of their high school transcript.

Denny Rohe Scholarship

The Denny Rohe Scholarship supports students pursuing a degree in manufacturing or production while attending a junior college, four-year university, or trade school. Applicants must include two letters of recommendation and a copy of their high school transcript.

Jim Logan Scholarship

The Jim Logan Scholarship is available to students pursuing a degree in manufacturing automation while attending a junior college, four-year university, or trade school. Applications require two letters of recommendation and a copy of the applicant’s high school transcript.
